Hey, aren't *you* a Who geek? :) I know what you mean, though--if I had any way of going, I'd be crossing my fingers that all the tickets weren't snatched up already!

I do enjoy Doctor Who, but the difference is that wouldn't be WHY I was going, and I've got my Shakespeare MA to prove it. :) In fact, the only reason I started watching DW in the first place was because I was really impressed with this obscure stage actor I saw once called David Tennant.

I'm definitely going to call tomorrow, thanks for the heads up!

Oh, yes, I know--I just couldn't think of a better way to indicate that! (It's really hot here. I think my brain is melting.) Glad to have been of service!

I am trying SO HARD not to be bitter that I can't afford to go see a performance.

It's not working very well.

Hee. I know exactly what you mean. There should really be some kind of fund for impecunious grad students to be able to go see plays that are TOTALLY RELATED to what they study!

I've only been to Stratford once, but I really had a good time there, touristy elements and all. And I got to see Twelfth Night, which is only my favorite play in the whole world, so...
