inane update
All I want to do today is watch "Amy's Choice"...

Instead I guess I'll go to the library or something, and stay away from the internet because I don't know when I'll be able to watch the series premiere of Doctor Who.

I also had a really weird collection of dreams, including one where Dominic Cooper was playing an extremely rubbish vampire (that was his description, during an interview in the dream) in Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. Apparently - so I discovered when I woke up - he was actually in that movie, which is not a thing that I knew that I knew, although I don't think he played a vampire.

And in conclusion, PONDS.

He wasn't rubbish, he was AWESOME. I totally loved it although I've been a fan of his since Sense and Sensibility, but still, he doesn't often get to kick ass with the fighting and shooting and figuring out things out...plus, I love immortal characters as mentors.

Oh yes, he was a vampire which is pretty clear from the start but then it's not clear to Lincoln and then they make it seem all WOAH, what a surprise and I'm like...uh, you told the audience from the start? It could have been done better but I still really liked it and I'm glad that Anthony Mackie is rumored to also be joining the Marvel cinematic family.

How peculiar! I definitely didn't know he actually played a vampire.

I tend to think of Dominic Cooper as a very good actor who gets cast as characters I don't like (like Willoughby in S&S, whom I've always disliked), but I really liked him in An Education, and thought he was very funny in Tamara Drewe. And of course I'm a big fan of The History Boys!

PONDS. PONDS PONDS PONDS. I'm in the midst of downloading the premiere now, and it's going to take at LEAST an hour.
