food report  
Fresh mozzarella was on sale this week (two dollars off! not bad!), so dinner wound up being open-faced sandwiches on "Tuscan wheat" bread: prosciutto, mozzarella, and fried zucchini. I was supposed to make pasta with the zucchini (and I still have one left, so I might), but somehow this happened. I bet this would be good with pesto instead of prosciutto, too.

I'm literally alivating while reading this. Mozzarella, zucchini and prosciutto are three of my favourite things EVER.

Hee! Actually, the thing is that I'm squeamish about cooking meat (well, undercooking it), so I wind up looking for lots of veggie-based recipes even though I'm not a vegetarian (as indicated by my happy consumption of prosciutto!).
