"let us walk about and quiz people"  
Loved this article, which is sort of a quiz about Austen, but really rather more than that. There are quite a few things in it I'd never really thought about:

It definitely argues for the significance of careful rereading! And I'd never thought of the possibility that Benwick's mourning might be a sartorial as well as an emotional state.

Okay, still only on the first question but OMG they are so right about Mr. Collins. o_o I always think of him as being this middle aged dude, because that's how he's always cast. Huh.

Me too! And I think I have a vague memory of being surprised by his actual age, the last time I read P&P, and then promptly forgetting it again.
