gratuitous clothing post
I appear to have taken to dressing in grayscale. Today I am wearing dark gray sweater tights with a sort of pinhole argyle pattern, and my gray sundress, with a dark gray scoopneck T with long sleeves over it (roughly the same color as the tights). And my gray wool scarf from London (though this is mostly because I just forget to take it off half the time). And black boots. At least I am wearing a purplish cardigan.

I'm thinking of buying this same sundress in navy blue. I wear the gray one a lot, because while I don't wear it on its own (it has spaghetti straps), it's a fantastic layering piece. This feels like a frivolous purchase, but I think I would actually benefit from it...

Also, I did manage to wear my new plaid miniskirt last week, so hooray for that. The skirt revolution continues!

You should definitely get the other dress!

I'm definitely leaning toward doing so; I just have to convince myself that it's okay. :)

Sounds pretty. Post a photo. I love a cool, pale grey, especially accented with blue or peach.

It turns out that I have a lot more gray in my wardrobe than I thought I did! I guess I tend to gravitate toward that color.

Shades of grey can be gorgeous, although they are usually associated with drab--but Silver is a shade of grey-- just sparkly. And as with any color, even something as bright as Lime or Electric pink, the right accessories can make or ruin an outfit.

PS. Your post about Mary Shelley inspired me to write a DW fanfiction in which Eleven visits the poets at Lake Geneva.

Very true!

And that sounds like fun! He's already met vampires (well, sort of), so he ought to have something to say to Byron and Polidori.
