I mean, I guess I'm glad that I didn't leave a ton of food sitting around in my fridge while I was away for several weeks, but still--looking into a near-empty fridge is a little sad-making for me. But I've run errands (especially returning a recalled library book, grr--but I got the $14 fine waived because the recall should have been delayed until the library had reopened after the holidays, and it wasn't, so that was good) and I had a yummy fish sandwich with coleslaw on it for lunch, so I'll stop by the nearby market on the way home and see if I can't make the fridge a little less empty, at least provisionally.

Cookie dough and frozen pizza! Mmmmm.... (I always try to leave a frozen pizza, a frozen loaf of bread and a can of orange juice concentrate for us for when we get back from France, but it's still scary to see the empty fridge and cupboards! But then it's fun to go shopping and fill them up again.)

Hee! I did have some frozen salmon and sweet potato fries, and the usual assortment of hot cereals, so I could have eaten *something*. But it was nice to plan out more interesting meals for the next few days. :)
