I have a presentation paper that needs writing this weekend, when all I want to do is sit around in pajamas, drink tea, and reread The Graveyard Book. Because that is what one does on Halloween.

For me, it is "sit around in something black and lacy and read Sunshine", but yes, that is The Thing; the World ought to understand this. Hmph. (I usually read The Graveyard Book rather earlier in October to get into the appropriate seasonal mood, because I have an extremely happy memory of reading it for the first time on a very grey and blustery October afternoon.)

I've reread Sunshine more recently than The Graveyard Book, but it's definitely a good choice for Halloween weekend! (Although I tend to reread it at the beginning of the school year, because *I* have a very happy memory of reading it then.)

I suppose I could have written the paper earlier, leaving this weekend free, but that would involve not being an incorrigible procrastinator...
