PBS, you know I love you, but what on EARTH is with your inability to actually advertise the Shakespeare episodes of Great Performances? Do you just not like Shakespeare? Is that it?

I went looking for the GP Hamlet site, to see if the film was still up (as it might be useful for class at some point), and found this in the comments thread:

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for Patrick Stewart playing the title role in our upcoming production of Macbeth, scheduled to air Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 9pm (check local listings). We hope you stay tuned for more GREAT PERFORMANCES.

Why would you not make that information readily available to people who might want it--you know, like on the actual website? Why do I have to discover these things through obsessive David Tennant stalking and random bouts of Google search?

Thank you a million times for posting about Macbeth! I'm with you on this: what on earth is wrong with PBS??? I mean, SHAKESPEARE, ferchrissakes!

It makes no sense. Maybe the Great Performances people are just not any good at communicating with the other PBS people or something.
