thanks a lot, New York Times
Okay, so now I'm terrified that this is going to happen to me, because I have extremely flat feet:

Oh, no! I clicked on the link and looked around the Health section of the NYT. I have Raynaud's, and now I'm terrified that some of these things are going to happen to me. We should all just not read health articles, I feel, so we can maintain our mental health.

Oh, dear! I'm sorry to have provided the link, then! And I think you're absolutely right: no more health articles for me (except possibly the ones that are just "yay, eat more vegetables--here are some recipes!" I think I could handle those.)

I have had to impose a moratorium on all health articles and even on medical shows. I am the sort of person who is usually so healthy that even if I get a cold I'm convinced it's cancer/lupus/sarcoidosis/the bubonic plague/Ebola (THANK YOU, HOUSE). It's... not good.

Oh, goodness, I know! I had to stop watching House, because suddenly *everything* was deadly. There could be crazy parasites in my ham or wasps emitting killer toxins in my walls!
