other hamlet news

Funnily enough, I just checked out Exit Pursued by a Badger last week, but haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Also, david-tennant.com puts the Great Performances (PBS) broadcast on April 28 at 8 PM:

I still haven't actually seen the production, but after that I'll be right in line for the book!

I didn't see any of them, of course (why so far away, England?), so I'll be reading it with not much prior knowledge of the productions except for gleanings off the internet. Still, I've never been involved in theater in any way, so it's nice to get a backstage peek.

Well, there's a fellowship, but I'd have to do a lot more dissertation writing to be eligible! Someday I'll be at that point, but not for a while yet.

I have Exit Pursued by a Badger but haven't read it yet either. It does look fascinating though. And I'm definitely getting the new RSC book too!

I'm definitely looking forward to reading them both! I know more about the Hamlet production than I do about the histories cycle, because of David Tennant and all, but both will be fun to read.
