OMG.

...Though it's funny how, from reading Dunnett, I feel like I have a pretty solid grasp on who was getting up to no-good in the 1550s, but for the 1590s I am mostly hopeless.

Still, 10/10 stars, would recommend this article to my niche-nerd friends. :D

I'm the opposite: I have a much better sense for the 1590s than the 1550s - mostly through reading books about Shakespeare!
