globe sads
Well, I was supposed to go see the Globe's Much Ado tonight at the cinema, but there's some kind of storm or something happening, I hear.

Perversely, the cinema itself is still open (I called to ask if they had plans to reschedule the event, since it was a one-night thing), even though the city is shutting down all public transportation in an hour. Ah well, guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Keep your fingers crossed that we don't lose power!

Yeah! Oh well, there's always the DVD.

The DVD is already out! You have to import from the Globe shop or UK Amazon, but it is an all-region DVD.

Ooh, excellent! I'll have to order it soon!

I was heartbroken when our local theater wouldn't reschedule the one-shot screen of Nation even though there were 6 feet of snow on the ground.

At least there are DVDs of this!

Boo! That is unfortunate - who's going to go to the theater with six feet of snow?!?

That is sad! Stupid weather. Why can't it sort of even out and give everybody a moderate amount of precipitation, etc.?

Indeed! Storms are just too extravagant a form of precipitation!

Boo! That is no fun.

(That being said, did you see fuunsaiki's Giant List o'Links from the Globe to Globe festival?)

I didn't, but I've been meaning to check out G2G for a while - I think I saw a similar list on Tumblr.
