*glee face*
http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2010/08/it-was-pretty-damn-wonderful-actually.html

Since we are all friends around here, I will share with you the idiotic thing that crossed my mind after I'd stopped flailing about this photo: "Waiting for this episode is kind of like living in a sonnet." You know, the sweet pangs, and fair cruelty, and pleasant torment, and all that.

I need a new brain. This one has been broken by the Renaissance.

Your icon = MY FACE RIGHT NOW. And words cannot express how much I love that Neil is as excited about all of this as we are. (Actually, the way nearly everybody involved in Doctor Who is fanboyishly excited to be a part of it warms the cockles of my heart.)

It is incredibly endearing, the way everyone seems to be in BEST JOB EVER! mode all the time. Not to mention the bit where David Tennant and Matt Smith both basically wrote fanfic at various points, and that picture of tiny Moffat reading a DW novel. Why so cute, Doctor Who people?

Neil Gaiman, Moffat, something spooky, quirky, Scottish, good.

I'm definitely hoping for some really good results!
