David Tennant interview
LJ is still being wonky about comment notifications, woes.

But I bring David Tennant mini-interviews to make up for any comments I fail to respond to:

It amuses me that practically none of it is actually about Masterpiece Contemporary--it's all about Doctor Who and Hamlet.

I watched those yesterday — isn't he absolutely charming and adorable?

He is, indeed, both of those things. I also love how animated he is--the PBS site is very "The Many Faces of David Tennant."

P.S. I see you've friended me--hello! Things tend to get annoyingly academic around here, but feel free to pull up a chair anyway. :)

Oh absolutely, and he's very articulate about the "craft" of acting, which I found quite interesting.

My dear, there's no such thing as "annoyingly academic"! I friended you because I enjoy reading your entries, so I fully intend to stick around! :-)

Yes--and not all actors are! I always like listening to him. (Or reading: he's done two essays for the Players of Shakespeare series, one on playing Romeo and one on Touchstone.)

And I'm glad to hear that the rampant academia isn't a deal-breaker. :)
